We get several emails
asking for information about our Open Meetings. They are
located at the Redwood Cafe on Old Redwood Highway in
Cotati and start at 7 PM. The meetings are the first and
third Tuesday of each month. See our calendar
for dates.
The Redwood Cafe is
located in downtown Cotati, California, on the Old Redwood
Highway, next to Gravenstone's. You are welcome to join us
in this comfortable, neutral space to talk about things
relative to Paganism.
The usual age range
of attendees is from 18 to 60 with the average age being
mid thirties. You may bring your children along but be
mindful that this is a public cafe and it's up to you to
monitor your kid's behavior so as to not disturb the
patrons.
Minors not accompanied
by a parent or guardian are discouraged from joining with
us unless we have clear proof that the minor has parental
permission and approval. Sorry, but in this uptight and
litigious world, we cannot allow ourselves to be plagued
by disgruntled parents who may be adverse to their
children visiting with Pagans. If you are a Pagan minor,
bring one or both of your parents or guardians to your
first visit at the Open Meeting. If you are a minor and
have been emancipated, bring verifiable proof.
The meetings are very
casual with conversational topics ranging from things
Pagan to mundane things like work, school and life in
general. The intent of these meetings is purely social so
we can enjoy each others company and get to know Pagans
new to the Path or the Community and provide some guidance
and networking for Seekers. Of course, if you have any
